Glass Film Installation Steps
1. Clean: Thoroughly clean the glass surface with soapy water or glass cleaner. Ensure it is completely dry, smooth, and
free of dust, grease, or debris.
2. Measure & Cut: Measure your glass pane and cut the film to size, leaving a slight overlap (1-2 cm) if desired. We recommend
cutting on a clean, flat surface.
3. Peel & Position: Carefully peel back a small section of the protective liner. Align the film with the top of the glass and gently
press it into place.
4. Apply & Squeegee: Slowly pull away the rest of the liner while using a soft cloth or application squeegee to smooth the film
onto the glass from the center outward. This pushes out any air bubbles for a flawless, bubble-free finish.
5. Trim Excess: Use a sharp craft knife or blade to trim any excess film from the edges for a perfect fit.

Glass Film Product Application
For Privacy (The Most Common Use)
This is where the film truly shines. You can obscure the view while still letting in light.
· Bathroom Windows: The #1 use. Apply to any window where you need privacy, especially in ground-floor bathrooms,
showers, or those facing a neighbor.
· Front Door & Side-lights: Many front doors have glass panels. A decorative film allows light into your entryway while
preventing people from seeing directly into your home.
· Basement Windows: These are often at street level. Frosting them provides privacy and can make a basement feel
less like a "fishbowl."
· Windows Facing a Neighbor or Street: For any room where you feel exposed—a home office, bedroom, or living
room—a film can create a comfortable barrier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Will this film leave any sticky residue when I remove it?
A: Absolutely not! Because it clings with static and not adhesive, it will peel off cleanly without any residue.
Q: Can I use this on textured or frosted glass?
A: For best results, the film needs a perfectly smooth, non-porous surface to cling to. It will not adhere properly to
textured or already frosted glass.
Q: Does it provide privacy at night?
A: During the day, the film provides privacy because the outside is brighter than the inside. At night, when the lights are
on inside, the effect reverses, and people outside may be able to see shadows. For nighttime privacy, we recommend
pairing it with curtains or blinds.
Q: Is it safe for my windows?
A: Yes, it is completely safe for glass. In fact, it can add a layer of protection against minor impacts.
